SUNDAY GLORY

This last Sunday I preached about Jesus, warfare, deliverance, and how the truth sets us free…I knew God had given me a word for the family; however, I didn’t know it would speak to so many people. All week people have been sharing stories with me of what it did for them. One gal was so convicted by God in regards to how the enemy had been deceiving and ripping her off from all that God has for her that after the Gathering, she took all her weed down to the ocean and gave it all up! Here is another one that came via text on Monday:

Hi Jason, I just wanted to tell you that your sermon yesterday has completely rocked me. I literally felt like I was having a mini sozo while you were talking about the mind and our thoughts. You are a phenomenal pastor, teacher and father to Isla Vista. Just wanted to thank you for listening to Dad’s voice and speaking to us what He’s speaking to you. Have a great day!

Seriously, all glory to God…as before and when I started the message, the words of Paul to the Corinthian church rang so true:

“And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.”

* due to dead week at UCSB and the amount of people with us we moved the gathering to the Sueno Tabernacle…next quarter we are moving to the dead center of IV (Embarcadero Hall)
